BUENA VISTA, VA – The Southern Virginia University men's
soccer team was held scoreless for the third straight match as the
Knights fell Friday afternoon to visiting Chowan University,
2-0.
Both teams managed 11 shots during Friday's homecoming match,
however, Chowan converted two of their five shots on goal, while
all four of Southern Virginia's on goal attempts were turned away
by the Hawks.
Men's soccer, now 7-5 on the season, has nearly two weeks off
before it hosts Ferrum College on Wednesday, Oct. 20. The match has
a 4 p.m. start time and will be played at The Fields.
