BUENA VISTA, Va.—The Southern Virginia women's soccer team fell 4-1 at home in their season-opener against Bridgewater College.

Mckenzie Cottle scored the only Knight goal of the game, which came in the 78th minute of play. 

Bridgewater's Julia Baca scored four goals in the 90-minute match.
