LYNCHBURG, Va.—In game one of the two-game Lynchburg Schnellenberger Classic, hosted by Lynchburg College, Southern Virginia fell 3-0 to the Roanoke College Maroons.

The Knights (1-3) allowed two goals in three minutes during the first half. Roanoke's (3-0-1) first goal came from a corner kick in 26th minute. Three minutes later, from the deep free kick, the Maroons struck again. 

The Knights struggeled to get shots off, recording only six, without a shot on goal. 

Game two against the defending champions, Lynchburg will begin on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
