LYNCHBURG, Va.—In their second and final game of the Lynchburg Schnellenbeger Classic, Southern Virginia suffered another loss as they fell to the host team Lynchburg College, 5-0.

Lynchburg college started strong with four of their five goals coming in the first half. The Knights were unable deal with the offensive onslaught brought by the Hornets who recorded their third shutout in only four games this season.

Southern Virginia was outshot by Lynchburg College, 39 to three, with the Knights recording only two shots on goal.

In their next match, the Knights return home to host Randolph College on September 16, at 7:00 p.m.
