BUENA VISTA, Va.—The Southern Virginia men's soccer team lost 2-1 to Frostburg State University in their final game of the 2016 season.
The Bobcats (8-9-1, 4-4-1 CAC) scored an early goal in the seventh minute, but the Knights (3-14, 1-8 CAC) answered with a goal by Tyler McElwee off of an assist from Carlos Munoz in the 25th minute.
Frostburg State took the lead in the 71st minute from a corner kick and held the Knights without a shot in the second half to secure their win.
Keenan Carroll recorded three saves in goal for the Knights.
