FREDERICKSBURG, Va.—The Southern Virginia women's basketball team fell 85-45 to the University of Mary Washington, who is ranked fifth in the Mid-Atlantic regional rankings.
Freshman guard Merideth Oullette led the Knights (6-17, 4-12 CAC) with 11 points, two assists, and two rebounds. Sophomore
Shelby Winsor scored eight points and recorded three defensive rebounds. Freshman
Kimberly Eads came off the bench with seven points and three rebounds.
The Knights shot a season low compared to the University of Mary Washington's (19-4, 13-3 CAC) 49.3% from the field.
Southern Virginia travels to York College of Pennsylvania for their final game of the season on Saturday, February 20. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
