BUENA VISTA, VA. — The Southern Virginia University women's soccer team fell to Methodist Friday night in a USA South Conference matchup 2-0.

Game Notes

• In the second minute of the game, Laura Harris put the Monarchs on the board first, scoring an unassisted goal
• At the midway point in the first half, Tatiana Lourenco-Shiber scored the security goal for Methodist off of an assist from Alyssa Morrell
• Makya Lindgren recorded two shots on goal, while Makinna Winterton tallied three

The Knights take on Salem for the final home game of the season in Knight Stadium Wednesday, October 20. Game time is scheduled for 4 pm.
