BUENA VISTA, VA. — The Southern Virginia University football team fell to conference foe Huntingdon College Saturday afternoon 48-20.

• Huntingdon opened the scoring with a 30-yard rushing touchdown by Landon Cotney
• Southern Virginia tied the game up with five minutes remaining in the first with a Davis Pinkston four-yard rushing touchdown
• Huntingdon earned an additional two points after a Knight safety
• The Hawks used four more scores to jump ahead 32-7
• Davis Pinkston got the Knights on the board again with a two-yard rushing touchdown to bring the new score to 13-32
• Following two more scores by Huntingdon, Chase Pope snagged a pass from Davis Pinkston

Southern Virginia takes on Greensboro College in the Knight Stadium Saturday, October 16. Game time is slated for 1 pm.
