Box Score STAUNTON, VA. — The Southern Virginia University women's basketball team opened USA South Conference play Tuesday night taking on Mary Baldwin University. The Knights came away with the victory, downing the Fighting Squirrels 72-57.

- The Knights improved to 3-2 overall on the year, while going up 1-0 in USA South Conference play with the win
Southern Virginia will host their home opener of the 21-22 campaign, welcoming Mary Washington to Knight Arena Wednesday, December 1. Game time is scheduled for 6 pm.
