MARYVILLE, TENN. — The Southern Virginia University captured their second win of the season Saturday afternoon, defeating Covenant 1-0. 

Game Notes

• The Knights scored in the first minute of the game off an Abby Paulsen goal from a Delaynee McKeachnie assist
• Southern Virginia closed out the first half, holding Covenant scoreless
• The Knights closed out the game with several scoring opportunities, but Lucy Sandhoff stood tall in goal

Southern Virginia continues their season, returning home to Knight Stadium on Saturday, September 18, against Ferrum College. Game time is scheduled for 8 pm.
