KINGSVILLE, VA. — The Southern Virginia University men's soccer team took on Hampden-Sydney College in a non-conference matchup Wednesday night, falling to the Tigers 2-1.

Game Notes

• In the 21st minute, Josh Dubinsky got the Knights on the board first, scoring an unassisted goal
• Two minutes before halftime, Hampden-Sydney tied the game up with a Connor Brooks goal off a Jackson Burkhart assist
• Towards the end of the match, Kade Wheeler scored the game-winning goal for the Tigers, putting the team up 2-1 in the 69th minute

The Knights return to conference play, taking on Methodist Saturday, October 2. Game time is scheduled for 5 pm.
