BREVARD, NC. — The Southern Virginia University women's soccer team opened USA South Athletic Conference play Tuesday night, falling to Brevard College 4-0. 

Game Notes

• Estevan Berto put the Tornados up 1-0 in the sixth minute off of a Wendel Lima assist
• Berto gets his second goal, doubling up the Knights 2-0 with an unassisted goal in the 26th minute
• Adam Spencer closed out the first half, scoring Brevard's third goal in the 33rd minute
• Rocco Barbon put Brevard's final goal of the game on the board in the 51st minute 

Southern Virginia travels to Maryville, Tennesse, to compete in the Maryville College tournament. Game one is scheduled for Friday, September 10th, with game time slated for 7 pm.
