Box Score ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – The Southern Virginia University men's soccer team completed its first road match in conference play Saturday afternoon, falling to North Carolina Wesleyan.
The Bishops got on the board first in the 18
th minute with an Andrea Lacche goal.
Near the end of the first half, NC Wesleyan would add back-to-back goals to take a three-goal lead into break.
The Bishops would add two more goals in the first 20 minutes of the second 45, including Lacche's second of the game.
Southern Virginia would get on the board in the 78
th minute with
James Allen scoring his first career goal.
Sophomore
Calum Yule scored in the last minute of the match, finding the back of the net for the first time this season.
The Knights will now shift their focus to the showdown against The Royals of Eastern Mennonite University next Wednesday, October 12.
