BUENA VISTA, VA. — The Southern Virginia University Football team returns home to Knight Stadium Saturday afternoon, welcoming back Alumni, for the 2022 Homecoming Game taking on Maryville (TN) at 1 pm.
"With it being homecoming, we would like to put on a good show for our alumni," stated Coach Mulitalo. "If we can play together as a team all four quarters, we have a great opportunity for success."
SCOUTING THE SCOTS:
Maryville is looking to keep the momentum rolling, coming off a 56-17 victory over LaGrange on the road.
Freshman quarterback Bryson Rollins will continue guiding the offense, averaging 244.67 yards per game, while throwing 13 touchdowns for 1468 yards. Rollins will be looking for his primary target Kevon Samuels, who has recorded 22 receptions for six touchdowns and 479 yards of offense.

In the first quarter, the Knights went up 10-0 off a Derek Bass field goal and a 74-yard touchdown pass from Davis Pinkston to Woodson Francois.
Skylar Johnson would record the final touchdown for the team in the fourth quarter after Pinkston spotted him open down the field, connecting for the 42-yard touchdown.
IMPACT PLAYERS:
