BUENA VISTA, VA. — The Southern Virginia University Women's Volleyball team took on Greensboro and Randolph College in back-to-back mid-week games, splitting their opponents 1-1. The Knights fell to the Pride in five sets while handling the Wildcats with a sweep. 

Greensboro Game Notes:

• Sydney Bassett led the offense with 13 kills, with Brenna Clyde following with 12, and Brookelyn Madland rounded it out with ten
• Nikki Stevenson and Sarah Hoofman both recorded three aces, while Jilane Pedersen and Clyde tallied three blocks apiece
• Jessica Ensley did all she could at Libero, bringing up 26 digs, with Stevenson adding. a career-high 23 digs

Randolph Game Notes:

• Bassett continued her roll with 13 kills and nine digs
• Nikki Stevenson had another solid night with two aces and ten digs while Jilane Pedersen and Brookelyn Madland tallied four blocks

The Knights remain home, hosting NC Wesleyan and Brevard for a tri-match on Saturday, October 28, in Knight Arena. Game one is scheduled for 10 a.m. and game two is slated for 2 p.m.
