165 - Ricardo Diego: Ricardo went down early and was unable to fight back, losing by fall in the first period.
174 - Tyson Hoopes: Tyson faced a challenging start but managed to escape, bringing the score to 3-1 in the first round. In the second round, an early Cougar escape was countered with a three-point takedown, leveling the score. Heading into the third round, an escape at the start gave Hersey the lead, however Averett struck back with a crucial three-point takedown with a minute left in the third. 197 - Loyal Holm: Holm was also taken down early and tried to regain control for a short while before losing by a pin.
285- Weston Memmott: Weston put up a strong effort, with a competitive first round ending 1-3. The second round saw back-and-forth action, where no one could take advantage in the match, but a takedown in the third proved insurmountable.
125 - Quinn Richards: Quinn found himself trailing early and, despite numerous escapes, he couldn't gather enough momentum. The match ended in a third-round tech fall.
133 - Francisco Rameriez: - After an early back and forth before Rameriez was taken down and then lost by fall in the second minute.
141 - Porter Kenny: Porter faced adversity early in the match but demonstrated resilience by going back and forth in the second round. He worked hard to take advantage in the third with a late escape, but a subsequent takedown sealed the match, resulting in a 3-14 loss by major decision.
149 - Jacob Smith: In the final match of the day, Jacob executed an early takedown, followed by an escape. However, another takedown and four back points from his opponent were followed by a fall, resulting in a hard-fought contest.
Despite the challenging results, the Knights demonstrated determination, sportsmanship, and a commitment to improving as they move forward in the season.
