BUENA VISTA, VA. – For the second consecutive year, the Knights advanced to the USA South Conference championship match following the team's convincing 4-0 victory over Greensboro College.
Southern Virginia was in control throughout en route to a 4-0 victory over fourth-seeded Greensboro. The Knights first goal came in the 32nd minute to take a 1-0 halftime lead. Insurance goals would occur in the 55th, 59th, and 90th minutes to put the game away.
The finals are now set as Southern Virginia hosts Brevard in Knight Stadium on Saturday, November 4. Both the Tornados and Knights will look to grab the first tournament crown in their program's history.
