BUENA VISTA, VA. — In an impressive showing, the Southern Virginia University tennis team dominated Meredith College in a 9-0 victory. The team showed strength in both doubles and singles play, winning all matches.

In doubles play, Southern Virginia's Paula Snelson and Jillian Arnold defeated Meredith's Ellie Osborne and Summer Elkins in a final score of 8-1 in the #1 doubles match. Nadia Molanphy and Campbell Bueler also secured a victory in the #2 doubles match against Sophie Phillips and Claire Southern with a final score of 8-2, while Grace Howell and Liz Ursenbach of Southern Virginia managed to secure the victory with a final score of 8-4.

Southern Virginia continued their domination in singles play, with all players winning their matches in straight sets. Paula Snelson defeated Ellie Osborne 6-0, 6-2 in the #1 singles match, while Campbell Bueler won handily 6-2, 6-0 in the #2 singles match. Jillian Arnold won against Claire Southern 6-2, 6-1 in the #3 singles match, while Nadia Molanphy defeated Sophie Phillips 6-1, 6-1 in the #4 singles match. 

Overall, Southern Virginia showed great skill and teamwork in their victory over Meredith College, showcasing their strength in both doubles and singles play.
