Greensboro, N.C. - Southern Virginia men's wrestling team returned to conference duals and faced a tough challenge against Greensboro College, ultimately falling short with a score of 31 to 15.

The action kicked off in the 125-pound division, where Quinn Richards showcased a resilient performance, securing a hard-fought victory with a 13-8 decision.

Moving to the 149-pound division, Weston Hirschi claimed a victory by forfeit, contributing to the team's efforts.

In the 157-pound division, Elijah Blackwell engaged in a gritty battle and emerged victorious with a 5-0 decision, adding crucial points for the Knights.

The heavyweight division (285 pounds) saw Melipone Aisea making a significant impact with a convincing 9-2 decision win, further adding to the team's point tally.

Despite the challenges faced, the Knights are determined to bounce back. They will have the opportunity as they host Shenandoah University on Thursday, January 25th, with the match set to begin at 7:00 PM.
