BUENA VISTA, Va. - Back on their home floor, the Southern Virginia University men's volleyball team took care of business on Saturday afternoon, defeating Wilkes 3-0 to cap off an undefeated week.
The teams played even through most of the opening set, but a 6-0 run sparked by Brady Dastrup put the Knights on top to eventually claim an early set lead.
Dastrup and Tommy Forese brought the heat from the service line, combining for nine aces to keep the Colonels on their heels.
After taking set two 25-16, Trajan Wadsworth helped Southern Virginia keep the pressure on in the third, registering several kills. Mark Tomlinson subbed in at setter and successfully led the Knights to another 25-16 set victory, clinching their 23rd win of the season.

Wadsworth notched nine kills on just 11 attacks while hitting .727. Mitchell Barney recorded 10 digs and Nathan Mitchell added a couple of blocks during a dominant all-around performance.
