FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - On the final day of the regular season, the Southern Virginia University men's lacrosse team traveled to North Carolina and defeated Methodist, 11-8.

The Monarchs pushed back during a back and forth next two quarters. With the game tied 7-7 near the beginning of the fourth, the Knights made their move.
Myles Nielson, Samuel Terreros, and Jackson Haley scored the next three goals for Southern Virginia as they pulled away for their seventh win in league play.
Haacke led the attack with four goals while Jace Lightfoot was solid in between the pipes, making six saves.
