Coach Brodie is in his second season as Assistant Coach for the Southern Virginia University men's lacrosse team. He serves as offensive coordinator, goalie coach, and recruiting coordinator.
In his debut season on the Knights' coaching staff, Brodie's offensive schemes propelled two players to All-Conference First Team honors. His coaching philosophy is rooted in a distinguished playing career as a two-year starter in the cage for Southern Virginia, where Brodie remains the program's all-time leader in wins and career save-percentage. He also anchored the team during their historic 2022 conference championship run. His individual accolades include two USA South All-Tournament selections and 2023 USA South All-Conference First Team honors.
A native of Stafford County, Virginia, Coach Brodie was a standout at Colonial Forge High School. His prep career included First Team All-State honors and a selection to the 2010s All-Decade team.
Following high school, he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ventura, California (2016-2018). He graduated from Southern Virginia University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in history.
