Similar to Coach Lynette and Brett Schroeder, Cory Stout is a Southern Virginia University alum and a four-year student-athlete. Stout, who finished her first year of coaching at the collegiate level during the 2022-23 season, graduated from Murray High School in Utah in 2016 where she played basketball for four years before attending SVU.
Following graduation from Southern Virginia in 2020, Stout spent the 2020-21 season coaching at Corner Canyon High School in Draper, Utah, as the Head Coach of the sophomore team and Assistant Coach of the varsity team. The following year, 2021-2022, she was the Head Coach of the freshman team and an assistant of the varsity team at Western Albermarle High School in Crozet, Virginia.
Cory has been a coach, teacher, or instructor her entire life whether it was karate, school, or basketball. She has a passion for coaching basketball and a strong desire to push the women’s team to the next level.
