Lea Garner joins Southern Virginia University as an assistant coach, bringing extensive collegiate, professional, and coaching experience to the program.
A 2016 graduate of Brigham Young University, Garner competed as a student-athlete for the Cougars before advancing to the professional ranks. Following her collegiate career, she spent five years competing on the Cactus Tour and the Epson Tour, gaining valuable experience at a high level of competitive golf.
Garner later returned to BYU, serving four years as an assistant coach with the women’s golf program. During her time on staff, she helped mentor and develop student-athletes both on and off the course while contributing to the continued success of the program.
