Outdoor Track & Field 

• Due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 2020 outdoor track & field season was not contested. To help prevent the spread of the virus, Southern Virginia University suspended all athletic activities, the change was made effective on March 13. 

Indoor Track & Field 

• Member of the 4x400 team that set a new program record finishing 6th at the NYC DIII Invitational. 
• Member of the DMR team that set a new program record finishing 5th at the CAC Championships.
• Led the mid-distance team with the fastest times in both the 800m and mile run. 
• Ran a season-best 2:34.29 at the NYC DIII Invitational.
• Ran a season-best 5:33.63 at the CAC Championships scoring for the Knights with a 7th place finish.
• Finished 6th at the 2019 Bast-Cregger Invitational with a time of 2:41.24.
• Placed 8th in the mile run at the Noke Elite Meet recording a time of 5:37.02.
• Earned Fall and Spring Provost's and President's List Honors

High School 

• All-state and All-Conference in cross country.
• All-Conference in soccer.

Personal 

• Parents are Karalyn and Jared Barton.
• Has five siblings.
• Loves Avatar the Last Airbender, soccer, and graphic design.
