2022-2023 | Junior

• Competed in throwing and jumps for the Knights
• Won back to back USA South Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a 1st place finish in the javelin toss with a distance of 32.13m and 3rd place in the high jump with a height of 1.50m.
• Earned a 1st place finish at the 2023 Colonial Relays in javelin toss with a personal best distance of 35.45m 

2021-2022 | Sophomore

• Competed for the Knights in jumps
• Earned 2nd in the 2021 C2C Track & Field Championships in the triple jump with a personal best 10.30m
• Helped the Knights win the 2022 USA South Track and Field Conference Championship with a 1st place finish in the high jump with a personal best 1.60m 

2019-20 | Freshman

Outdoor Track & Field 

• Due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 2020 outdoor track & field season was not contested. To help prevent the spread of the virus, Southern Virginia University suspended all athletic activities, the change was made effective on March 13. 

Indoor Track & Field 

• Set program record in the high jump with a mark of 1.51m at the CAC Championships to finish 4th overall.
• Placed 4th at the 2019 Bast-Cregger Invitational with a mark of 1.50m.
• Finished 5th at the Noke Elite Meet in the high jump with a mark of 1.50m.
• Came in 6th at the NYC DIII Invitational with a jump of 1.50m in the high jump.
• Earned Spring Provost’s List Honors

High School

• Named 2018 volleyball MVP.
• Named 2019 track and field MVP.

Personal

• Parents are Evan and Mary Pedersen.
• Has two siblings.
• Enjoys Lord of the Rings, creative writing and painting.
• Also plays on women's volleyball team.
