2019-20 | Junior

Outdoor Track & Field

• Due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 2020 outdoor track & field season was not contested. To help prevent the spread of the virus, Southern Virginia University suspended all athletic activities, the change was made effective on March 13. 

 Indoor Track & Field

• Competed in the CAC Championships, placed 5th in the shot put with a season-best throw of 11.30m. 
• Finished 5th at the Noke Elite Meet in the shot put with a toss of 10.94m.
• Top-10 finish at the 2019 Bast-Cregger Invitational with a mark of 10.39 in the shot put.

2018-19 | Sophomore

Outdoor Track & Field

• Competed for the Knights in the shot put, discus throw, and javelin at the CAC Championships.
• Finished 9th in the shot put (10.85m), 13th in the discus (32m), and 16th in the javelin (23.06m). 
• At the New Captains Classic, set a personal best in the discus with a throw of 32.25m to finish 9th, added a 4th place finish in the javelin (26.60m) and 7th place finish in the shot put (10.94m).
• Threw a season-best 10.99m in the shot put at the W&L Track & Field Carnival to finish 4th.

Indoor Track & Field

• Competed in the CAC Championships, finished 8th in the shot put with a toss of 10.82m. 
• Threw a season-best 11.12m in the shot put at the 2019 Collegeville Classic to finish 7th.
• Threw a season-best in the weight throw of 8.79m at the Finn Pincus Invitational.

2017-18 | Freshman

Outdoor Track & Field 

• Competed at the CAC Championships in the shot put and javelin. 
• Finished 6th in the shot put with a personal-best mark of 11.10m at the CAC Championships.
• At the New Captains Classic, posted two top-ten finishes finishing 4th in the javelin with a personal-best 28.34m and 6th in the shot put with a throw of 10.93m.
• Placed 4th in the shot put at the 2018 Wildcat Invitational with a throw of 10.48m. 
• Finished 4th in the javelin at the Doc Jopson Invitational with a toss of 25.86m. 
• Came in 2nd in the discus at the Dr. Jack M. Toms Alumni Invitational with a throw of 29.30m.
• Named to the CAC All-Academic Team and spring Provost's List.

Indoor Track & Field

• Competed in the CAC Championships in the shot put placing 6th with a personal-best mark of 11.38m. 
• Placed 6th at the Finn Pincus Invitational in the shot put with a throw of 10.85m.
• At the Bast-Cregger Invitational, finished 7th in the shot put with a throw of 10.70m.
• Recorded an 8th place finish at the Camptains Invitational & Combined Events in the shot put with a toss of 10.90m.

 High School

• Humboldt/Del Norte League Shot Put Champion (2017).
• Holds school record in discus.
• Marriott Scholar at Southern Virginia. 

Personal

• Parents are Justin and Tiffany Maher.
• Has three siblings.
• Enjoys weight lifting, kayaking, corn hole.
• Favorite tv shows are Downtown Abbey, The Office, and Parks and Recreation.
