Outdoor Track & Field
- Due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 2020 outdoor track & field season was not contested. To help prevent the spread of the virus, Southern Virginia University suspended all athletic activities, the change was made effective on March 13.
Indoor Track & Field
- Ran a season-best 5:37.23 in the mile run at the VMI Indoor Classic.
- Ran a season-best 2:37.46 in the 800m to finish 13th at the Noke Elite Meet.
- Member of DMR program record team with a time of 13:48.59 at the CAC Championships.
- Member of 4x400 program record squad with a time of 4:25.93 at the NYC DIII Invitational.
- Finished 13th in the mile run at the CAC Championships with a time of 5:45.22.
High School
- Earned All-League honors in cross country.
- Two-time state qualifier.
- Named team captain.
- Four-year academic achievement award winner.
Personal
- Parents are Todd and Amy Vanek.
- Has three siblings.
- Favorite food is potato enchiladas.
- Favorite dessert is brownies and ice cream.
