Elizabeth Haynie joined the Southern Virginia training staff in July 2025 as a full-time Athletic Trainer. She comes from Brigham Young Univeristy where she earned two degrees, a BS in Exercise Science and Master's in Athletic Training.
During her undergraduate studies, Elizabeth acquired a variety of skills in athletic training thanks to immense clinical experience. Elizabeth worked with BYU's swim and dive, football and men's lacrosse teams, assisting in practice coverage and forming rehabilitation techniques. She also served as a Clinical 2 Teachers Assistant.
During the most recent spring, she traveled internationally with the BYU Cougarettes to provide treatment and coverage for practices. Additionally, she was a recipient of Brigham Young University's Kerie Jean Water Athletic Training award.
