MISENHEIMER, NC. — The Southern Virginia University men's basketball team fell to USA South Conference Foe Pfieffer University Saturday night 85-76.

Game Notes

• The Knights held a 7-0 advantage to begin the game, started by an Elliot Spencer three-pointer
• Southern Virginia held their lead for the first ten minutes of the first half before Pfeiffer took their first lead of the game 15-14 off an EJ Thomas free throw
• The Falcons held onto their advantage the remainder of the half, heading into the intermission with the six-point 39-33 lead 
• Elliot Spencer led the team with 11 points, followed by Conner Marchant with ten
• The Knights had a strong start to the second half, tying the game up at 39 off of a Conner Marchant layup 
• After pulling ahead by nine points with 12 minutes remaining in the game, the Falcons did not look back, holding their lead and locking in the 85-76 victory

Southern Virginia returns home to Knight Arena Tuesday, January 25, to take on Greensboro College. Game time is scheduled for 6 pm.
