BUENA VISTA, VA. — The Southern Virginia University men's basketball team locked in their second conference victory of the season Tuesday night, dominating Greensboro College 93-75.

• Southern Virginia took control of the first half early, going up 12-3 off of layups from Jesse Barker, Malakai Olson, Alex Weiland, and Elliot Spencer
• Conner Marchant led the way for the Knights, scoring 12 first-half points, along with four steals
• Elliot Spencer and Jesse Barker joined Marchant, adding ten points each
• Coming off of the bench, Isaiah Marchant sank a three-pointer, with Scottie Ziegner adding a layup
• Southern Virginia went into the halftime break up 49-41, shooting 56.7 percent from the field, and 38.5 percent from behind the arc
• Conner Marchant stayed hot in the second half, scoring 13 points and three rebounds
• Isaiah Marchant matched his brother's energy, dropping nine points, and two assists to lead the bench
• The Knights ended the game, outscoring the Pride 44-33 to lock in the 93-75 victory
• Southern Virginia outshot Greensboro in all three shooting categories 52.6%-36.8% from the field, 47.8%-40% from three, and 84.6%-68.4% from the free-throw line
• The Knights dominated the paint, outscoring the Pride 30-18

Southern Virginia takes on Methodist on Friday, January 28, in Knight Arena. Game time is slated for 7:30 pm.
