BUENA VISTA, VA. — The Southern Virginia University men's basketball team concluded their regular-season play Saturday afternoon in Knight Arena, taking down William Peace 92-62.

Game Notes

• The Knights came out strong, shooting 48.5 percent from the field, and 38.5 percent from three
• Southern Virginia was led by Malakai Olson, scoring 13 points while bringing in seven rebounds
• Coming off of the bench, Elliot Spencer recorded five points
• Scottie Ziegner had a solid half, tallying eight points, with three rebounds and three assists
• The Knights went into the halftime break with the 39-28 lead
• Southern Virginia only improved in the second half of play, shooting 62.5 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from three
• Scottie Ziegner led all players with 16 points while recording two rebounds and one assist
• Silas Slaughter took over in the final minutes of the game, going 4-for-5 from three, scoring 12 points
• Elliot Spencer again led the bench with seven points, four rebounds, and two assists in the second half
