BUENA VISTA, VA. — Returning home for a rematch against Washington & Lee University from September 10, the Southern Virginia University Women's Volleyball team welcomed the Generals to Knight Arena Tuesday night for a non-conference matchup.

In the previous match where W&L won a five-set thriller, the Knights avenged their loss, sweeping the Generals in front of an energetic home crowd. The win marks the first sweep and first home victory against the W&L.

  • A costly attacking error from the Generals gave the Knights their first lead of the set 22-21, before Kaitlyn Chamberlain took matters into her own hands with two consecutive aces, setting up Hopkin for a final block to take the 25-21 set victory
