ROME, GA - The Southern Virginia Men's Golf team wrapped up their fall season at the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invite, held at the Stonebridge Golf Club. The Knights displayed some impressive performances and achievements:
Brogan Bennett continued to shine throughout the tournament. He finished tied for sixth place after carding a 74, bringing him to an even score for the tournament. Bennett's day began with a birdie and included three more birdies, totaling eight in the competition.
Nick Johnson delivered another strong performance, carding a 75 to finish the tournament at +6, earning him a tied 21st place.
Michael McCaffrey showcased improvement from his performance on day one. He had a solid start, going +1 on the front nine but faced some challenges on the back nine, ultimately finishing at +6 and securing the 70th place.
Robbie Nielsen followed closely, also recording a +6 and ending up in 73rd place.
Luke Wilson demonstrated improvement in his game, marked by a birdie on the 4th hole and a much more consistent performance throughout the day.
As the Southern Virginia Men's Golf team wraps up their fall season, they eagerly anticipate continued play in 2024.
