HARRISONBURG, VA. — In a five-set battle with Eastern Mennonite, the Southern Virginia Women's Volleyball team fell in the final set to the Royals, 2-3. 

Game Notes:

• Leading the offense, Sydney Bassett led all players with 16 kills, followed by Brenna Clyde with 14 and Brookelyn Madland with ten
• Sarah Hoofman and Nikki Stevenson had a solid night, serving with four aces apiece 
• Jessica Ensley led the defensive efforts with 27 digs, while Madland followed with 22

The Knights return home to The Arena to resume conference play against Salem College on Thursday, October 5, at 6 p.m.
