WINCHESTER, VA - The Southern Virginia Men's Golf team wrapped up play at the Glory Days Invitational hosted by Shenandoah University at the Winchester Country Club.
Brogan Bennett led the Knights with 11th place finish out of 76 golfers andÂ
Michael McCaffrey also put on an impressive showing with a 17th-place finish and a 150 score.
Nick Johnson rounded out the A-Team with a 22nd-place finish and 151 score to help place the Knights in 7th out of 16 teams.
The Glory Days Invitational was a challenging test of golfing with players going through 32 holes in one day, but Southern Virginia showed resilience.
As they wrap up the Glory Days Invitational, the team can take pride in their performance and use it as a stepping stone toward their next match in Flowery Branch, Georgia for the Royal Lakes Fall Invitational on Monday, October 2nd, and Tuesday, October 3rd where the Knights look to continue their early success of the season.Â
