SALEM, VA - The Southern Virginia Women's Tennis team took on Roanoke College Thursday Afternoon in a showdown which the Knights took down the Maroons 8-1.

Match Notes

• In doubles court one, Paula Snelson and Jillian Arnold dominated 8-1 while Lia Savage and Grace Howell won on court three 8-4
• Paula Snelson quickly defeated her opponent on court one of singles, winning 6-1 6-1
• Lia Savage, Grace Howell and Jillian Arnold all had quick wins
• Remly Fry fought for a 3 set win 7-5, 6-7, 1-0 
• The Knights swept the rest of their competition, walking away with a dominant 8-1 victory

Southern Virginia stays on the road to take on Randolph-Macon College on Saturday, September 23rd Match time is set for 9:00 am.
