HARRISBURG, VA - The Southern Virginia University women's tennis team brought home a 7-2 victory over the Eagles of Bridgewater College Tuesday Afternoon.

In doubles action the Knights were able to sweep through their competition with Court 1 being led by Paula Snelson and Jillian Arnold who won 8-3. Court 2 with Lydia Delich and Remly Fry who also won 8-3, and lastly Grace Howell and Lia Savage who took Court 3 by a score of 8-2.

In Singles, Snelson, Delich and Savage all won their sets 6-1, 6-0 while on Bethany Liddicoat carved out a win from a tiebreak in the Number 5 position winning, 6-4, 5-7, 1-0.

The Knights return to action Thursday, September 27th for a make-up match against Guilford where they look to continue their great start for the fall season.
