BUENA VISTA, VA - The Southern Virginia University Women's Soccer team showcased their prowess on the field with commanding victories over Salem College and NC Wesleyan University. The Knights triumphed with a final score of 5-0 against Salem College and 4-0 against NC Wesleyan University.
In the match against Salem College, the Knights took control early, with
Maybel Harris scoring the opening goal at the 14:20 mark, assisted by
Hailey Gadd.
Morgan Romney extended the lead with another goal at 21:13.
Makinna Winterton continued the scoring spree, netting two goals at 48:42 (assisted by
Maybel Harris) and 48:59 (assisted by
Maci Rackham).

In the encounter with NC Wesleyan University, the Knights continued their dominating performance.
Maci Rackham opened the scoring early at 03:12, and she was assisted by
Audrey McKeon for her second goal at 06:46.
Maybel Harris added her name to the scoresheet at 18:35, assisted by
Tessa Miller. The Knights sealed the victory with another goal from
Maybel Harris at 87:18.
With these impressive wins, Southern Virginia University's Women's Soccer team continues to make their mark in the conference. The Knights look forward to their upcoming match against Mary Baldwin University scheduled for Tuesday, October 3rd at 4:30 p.m.
