SALEM, VA – The Southern Virginia men's and women's track and field team competed in their second event of the season at the Finn Pincus Invitational hosted by Roanoke College. The event marked the team's first indoor meet after the break. While it wasn't team-scored, individual performances were noteworthy. Coached by Kyle Chandler and Jeramie Murray, the team displayed impressive efforts and achieved four school records.
"Head Coach Kyle Chandler shared, "For our 1st meet back after the break, we had some great efforts - and we are off to a good start. To also come out with 4 school records - Parker in the Pole Vault and Andre in the Long Jump, along with Tessa in both the 500 meters and 1000 meters, were some great team momentum moments!"
