Misenheimer, NC - The Southern Virginia women's basketball team maintained their undefeated record in the USA South conference with a convincing victory over Pfeiffer University, elevating their conference standing to 4-0.

The Knights dominated from the outset, initiating a remarkable 19-0 run in the first quarter. Ruth Kempler showcased her prowess in the paint, contributing nine points within six minutes. As the first quarter concluded, Camilla Norton continued the offensive onslaught with six points from beyond the arc, propelling the team to a commanding 26-6 lead heading into the second quarter.
 

The offensive onslaught continued relentlessly, with Southern Virginia accumulating an additional 27 points in the second quarter. Maria Savvun and Camilla Norton displayed exceptional shooting skills from behind the arc, with Norton achieving a season-high of 19 points in the game. The Knights effectively sealed the victory, showcasing impressive numbers from three-point range, shooting 50% (12-24).
 

The scoring attack demonstrated efficiency, with three key players—Kempler, Savvun, and Norton—each achieving double-digit scores. The team's proficiency from behind the arc was a highlight, contributing significantly to their 83-54 triumph. The Knights displayed versatility, garnering an impressive 43 points from the bench.

Looking ahead, the Knights continue their road journey as they face top-seeded NC Wesleyan University on Saturday, January 6th, with tip-off scheduled for 3:00 PM.
