Southern Pines, NC - The Southern Virginia men's golf team concluded day one at the Premier College Tournaments Spring Break Challenge, closely trailing the leaders William Peace University and Calvin College by just 3 strokes.
Once again, Brogan Bennett showcased his skill, leading the Knights with an impressive 75, finishing at +3 on the day and sharing the second position. Freshmen Coleman Oettli and Michael McCaffrey closely followed, both shooting 77 and securing a +5, tying for 8th place. Luke Wilson, hitting a 78, sits tied for 12th, only one stroke behind McCaffrey and Oettli. Nick Johnson is tied for 19th after hitting an 80.
In the individual category, Jameson Harper is tied for 27th with a score of 83 on the day.
