Buena Vista, VA - The Southern Virginia women's tennis team continued their dominance in conference play, securing another sweep and improving their record to 6-1 in conference matches. This marked their second consecutive 9-0 victory with this one coming against William Peace University.
Game Highlights:
- Senior Maddy Fisher, a pivotal player since 2020, was honored by the Knights for her contributions to the team.
- Paula Snelson and Jillian Arnold claimed victory at the #1 Doubles with a strong performance, winning 8-1.
- Lia Savage, Remly Fry, and the duo of Lydia Delich and Nadia Molanphy showcased exceptional teamwork, sweeping their respective doubles matches with scores of 8-0.
- Snelson and Arnold continued their impressive form, securing victories in their singles matches with scores of 6-3, 6-0 and 6-3, 6-3 respectively.
- Savage, Fry, Delich, and Molanphy closed out the sweep with commanding wins in their singles matches.
The Knights will wrap up their non-conference schedule with a home game against Sweet Briar College on Wednesday, April 17th, at 3:00 PM.
