RALEIGH, N.C. - The Southern Virginia University women's volleyball team kept the ball rolling with victories over William Peace and Pfeiffer during their final tri-match of the season
In the first match, the Knights took care of the hosts, William Peace, in short order with a commanding sweep.
Ryann Vail took part in six blocks, including three solos, to lead a dominant defensive performance at the net. Gracie Fulton added 22 digs and Talia Quinn had a game high of 24 assists.
In their second game of the day with Pfeiffer, the Knights had to shrug off some adversity after losing the opening set. Aubrey Packer tallied her fourth 20-kill game of the season to help Southern Virginia win the next three and clinch a seventh straight win.
Fulton collected a season high of 29 digs and Ruby Blamires nearly did the same with 25 assists.
Looking Ahead
On Wednesday, November 5th, the Knights travel to Greensboro in what has the potential to be a preview to the USA South Championship in less than two weeks. Gametime is set for 6:00 PM.
