Manheim, Pa. – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced the recipients of the 2025 NCAA Women's Scholar All-American Awards, with eight student-athletes from Southern Virginia University earning this prestigious recognition. This marks a significant jump from the program's inaugural year, when three Knights received the honor.
These outstanding student-athletes have demonstrated excellence both on the mat and in the classroom, meeting the NWCA's high academic and athletic criteria.
Southern Virginia University's 2025 NWCA Scholar All-Americans:
To qualify for this honor, student-athletes had to meet one of the following criteria:

Place in the top eight at nationals with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA

Compete in a minimum of 15 recorded matches with at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA

Qualify for nationals with at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA
NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer added, "The NWCA is proud to honor these outstanding individuals who demonstrate excellence on the mat and in the classroom as well."
