BUENA VISTA, Va. - The Southern Virginia University men's volleyball team kept their spotless home record intact on Tuesday evening after a sweep of Randolph College.
The teams traded service aces and errors over the first few points before Southern Virginia began to assert themselves.
Two aces from Brady Dastrup put the Knights up 20-10 late in the first before Tommy Forese put the set to bed with a kill. Southern Virginia piled up six aces in the opening frame.
Trajan Wadsworth and Jason Wang made a big impact in the second, ensuring the Knights comfortably won 25-17 to put the Wildcats on the brink of defeat.

In the third, Ben Hone posted three aces as part of four consecutive points to put Randolph on their heels. Southern Virginia never looked back en route to a double digit set three win to sweep another opponent.
Nathan Mitchell dominated at the net, registering five blocks to lead both teams. Mitchell Barney tallied 8 digs and Mark Tomlinson guided the attack with 17 assists.
