BUENA VISTA, Va. - The Southern Virginia University men's lacrosse team completed its regular season home schedule with a bang on Saturday afternoon, overpowering LaGrange in a 20-3 victory.
The Knights dominated possession for most of the afternoon, helping them to a 5-1 lead after fifteen minutes.
During the final three quarters, seniors accounted for 8 of the Knights final fifteen goals to keep Southern Virginia out in front.
Clay Haacke had one of his best offensive outputs of the season, tallying four goals to go along with two assists. It's the third time in four games that Haacke has scored at least four goals. Another senior, River Jackson, scored three times to complete the first hat trick of his career.
Davis Grant was the other senior to find the back of the net, adding two assists to finish with three points. Seniors Isaac Finley and Scott DuPaix started and made meaningful contributions on the field, particularly on the defensive end.

Ultimately, Southern Virginia sealed its sixth win of the season, while improving their record in league play to 5-1.
Looking Ahead
The Knights will be on the road for the final week of the regular season. On Tuesday, April 14th, they'll visit William Peace with an opening faceoff scheduled for 6:00 PM.
