MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – The Knights suffered their second biggest loss of the season as the traveled to Pennsylvania to take on the Lions of Penn State-Harrisburg and fell 8-0.
The Lions (5-7, 3-3 CAC) put their first goal into the back of the net within 17 minutes, and they never looked back. Penn State netted three goals in the first half, and then five more in the second.
The Knights (3-12, 0-6 CAC) couldn't seem to muster an answer to the offensive strike from the Lions and found themselves scoreless by the end of the match. The final score was 8-0.
Jamilla Gambee and Tatiana Monsen led the attack for the Knights with two shots on goal apiece.
Southern Virginia returns home on Wednesday for Senior Day to take on Marymount at 5:00 p.m. at The Fields.
