Box Score 2 BUENA VISTA, Va.—In a non-conference double header against Eastern Mennonite University the Knights fell to an all-time low record of 0-19, losing game one 10-0 and game two 17-3 this evening at Harvey-Dryden Field.
In game one the Knights' (0-19, 0-10 CAC) only hit came in the bottom of the fourth inning on an infield single by freshman Katierose Helems. The Royals (13-7, 6-6 ODAC) led early with four runs in the top of the first inning, and continued to build.
Senior left-hander Jamie Pinkston faced 31 batters, striking out three and allowing four earned runs.
The Knights were able to score three runs in game two, the first came in the bottom of the first as Annie Biggs singled to center field, advanced to second on a Helems sacrifice bunt, and scored on a MaKenzie Cox single up the middle.
The Royals scored three in the top of the third, but the Knights came up swinging in the bottom half of the same inning. With one out Cox singled to left field and advanced to second as Jamie Pinkston reached first on a fielder's choice (Helems, who reached on an error, was thrown out at third for out number two). A Lainie Thompson double scored Cox and Pinkston and tied the game at three a piece.
In the next three innings the Royals would hit leadoff solo homeruns and rallied in the sixth to score the final ten runs of the game. Pinkston earned the loss, but only allowed five earned runs.

The Knights take the field on Friday and Saturday in conference double headers against Wesley College and Salisbury University in a four-game weekend road trip.
