Methodist (7-8) answered with three consecutive goals of their own before Rich scored two to end the quarter and the Knights scored seven unanswered goals in the second period.
Although the Monarchs outscored the Knights 6-4 in the second half Southern Virignia triumphed 16-9.
Rich and Payton Kimber led the team with four goals apiece and an assist (Rich with two). Bangerter, Spencer Tunick and Zach Danneman (two assists) each had a pair of goals while Wynne scored his first career goal. Brady Cook also added a goal and two assists for the Knights.
